Namibia Promoted at ITB Berlin 2024 – Country to Also Host AviaDev Africa

The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) recently made a splash at the Internationale Tourismus Börse (ITB) Berlin, from 5th to 7th March 2024. This year, it was held under the theme, “Pioneer the Transition in Travel & Tourism. Together” and provided the ideal platform for the NTB, along with 29 co-exhibitors, to showcase the country’s diverse allures. This successful showing at ITB Berlin is just the beginning of exciting developments for Namibia’s tourism industry.

In June 2024, the country will play host to the AviaDev Africa conference. This key industry event will bring together aviation and hospitality leaders from across the continent, further boosting these vital sectors within Namibia. By actively participating in international events like ITB Berlin and hosting industry conferences like AviaDev Africa, Namibia is positioning itself as a leading tourist destination in Africa. All this bodes well as the country looks to further attract more travellers to its popular destinations including the capital where one can enjoy stays at the best hotels in Windhoek; these include well-established properties like Avani Windhoek Hotel & Casino ideal for business and leisure travellers alike.
